Create Accountability
Hi,
We often procrastinate because we don’t feel motivated enough to do the things we need (or want) to.
One thing that can help with this is to find external sources of accountability, to give you a motivational boost that will encourage you to take action on time. This could take the form of anything that’s useful in your particular circumstances, like a mentor that you check in with once a week, a group that you study with before exams, or a commitment that you make to a friend when you need a nudge to make a deadline.
To put this into practice now, ask yourself: What’s one thing I’ve been putting off where I could benefit from some added accountability? What would be a good way to gain the accountability? Then, go ahead and do it.
